I don't recall Tony praising rookies that much in general and certainly not to this degree. Very impressive, and well deserved.

I agree, high praise from Tony Romo is something to be proud of. However, wouldn't you say Frederick made just as much of an impact as Martin last year?

Frederick was the first one to acknowledge Martin was ahead of where he was in rookie year!!!

I guess we need to give Jerrah a half pat ,for accepting the experts.

I think we need to stop fixating on Jerry and give credit to the VR organization. The Joneses, McClay, Ciskowski, and Garrett all were involved.

Frederick was good, but had some troubles in pass protection last year. Nothing major, but definitely a step behind what Martin has done this year.

Of course, Martin is a more naturally fluid athlete than Frederick, which helps.

Yes, I don't care how we do it, just as long as we put together an organization that can successfully bring in what's needed for this team.

Whether it's Jerry, Stephen, Will, Tom, Jason, Dick or Harry that caused us to pick Frederick and Martin doesn't matter, just as long as we keep picking players like them instead of the Bobby Carpenters, Jacob Rogers, Shante Carvers, Solomon Pages, and at this point, Morris Claibornes.

As far as impact is concerned, I think that you can argue that Fred had a greater impact considering he was replacing Phil ("there are worse centers in the league") Costa, and the relative importance of his position. Martin also benefited from stepping into a better situation than Fred - but his raw talent is undeniable.
