One player I would like to commend would be Jesse Holley who I thought never had a chance to see the playing field. He has been a VERY GOOD special teams player for us since we brought him up. He has made several plays, and seems to always be involved with a good block on our PR's.

Who have you guys been impressed with lately that isn't getting any recognition?

Holley is a good choice for a quiet contributor. He's been flying around on ST. I think all the rotational guys on defense, from Vic Butler, Hatcher, Brent, Church, etc. could fall under this. They're all making some plays when they're out there.

McBriar never gets the rec he deserves.

2nd this. I just replied to the thread and I forgot to mention McBriar. He and Ladoceur combine to be just about the only guys on our team who absolutely NEVER make a mistake while doing their jobs, but it's just business as usual because that's how they've always done it.

Sure he does. In almost every game chat, he's referred to as the MVP

josh brent has been very good whenever he has been in there to give ratliff a rest. a definite 7th round steal.

I agree, he has played very well IMO.

Free would be my choice..

Getting solid LT play from him all year. This despite him having a broken thumb or something for the past three weeks.

we need more playing time for the following:

butler
lee
mccann
hatcher
church
choice

Never hear anything bad about him, only good. He is a punter, so let's keep perspective here...

One of the top what, 3 punters in the league?

at the end of the year I think will notice that we have found new contributors
Victor Butler
Mcann
Josh Price-Brent
Sean Lee
Scandrick(getting his swag back)
Maybe even a back up olineman comes in and proves his worth.(wishful thinking)
Jesse Holley (special teams ace)

who else?

With another strong showing in the Dallas Cowboys win over Detroit on Sunday, Mat McBriar passed Oakland's Shane Lechler for the NFL lead in net punting average.
McBriar put two his four punts inside the 20 and had a net average of 46.3 yards in the win against Detroit. That raised his season net average to 42.5 yards.

My vote is for Brent. I think we really hit on one there. Great use of a seventh rounder.

If you're going to mention special teams aces, then Sam Hurd deserves recognition. He always seems to be one of the first guys down on kickoffs and either makes the tackle or disrupts the return.
