When is first episode of Hard Knocks?

Tuesday, August 10th, 10pm EDT.
At first thought, it seemed the start of the series is out of sequence, being that the Cowboys will play in the HOF game on national TV the week before, followed by the joint practice \ scrimmage with the Rams two days later, with footage being available via the media and internet. But 'Hard Knocks' focus will be on storylines - individuals' backgrounds and personalities, along with interactions both on and away from the practice field.

This is what I hate about hard knocks....it's a week and a half behind....kinda feels like reading a newspaper the next am after reading online the night before....

Interesting to see the additional storyline and behind the scenes but just kinda feels meh
