I was focused on Claiborne and Jones tonight. They both seemed to do okay. Did anyone see anything I may have missed?

Claiborne was good and he would've had an int if he wasn't held, Jones looked lost a lot of the time but he is a rookie CB so i'm not worried yet.

Not so sure lost as tentative(done without confidence).

I just feel he will get jacked up though..he's our little secret 3rd down conversion machine.

SPOT on...I said the same thing in the game thread last night. I can see him returning punts in the playoffs but to GET to the playoffs I'd like to see someone else return punts in the regular season. As you pointed out, he's just too valuable in the slot to put at risk.

Claiborne played great. My seat allowed me to watch the game like coaches film. He covered really well and looked like he was playing on instinct which is great.

Jones looked okay. They need to decide if he's going to play CB or not and then let him learn a position. I think he'll be a better Corner than Safety because of his play style. Problem is a logjam at CB right now with Claiborne playing well and Patmon also looking great.

Very happy with the defense last night. The pass rush is manly.

Zack Marin should be added to this list. The o line isn't the same without him in there and it showed last nt

Yes. Runs to the right might as well been give up plays early. Randle had zero room on the right side of the field.

It seems all my predictions on the cast-away players (DMC, Claiborne, Carr) are coming true.

Say what you want, but the run defense was much better and I think Hayden has something to do with that.

Beasley is our 3rd receiver and won't play that many snaps in a game.

Also, teams use their 3rd receivers all the time to return punts.

If he can do it then let him.

The way he is built and as elusive as he is I wouldn't worry about him taking big shots

Exactly. When is the last time we saw Beasley take a huge hit? He runs low to the ground and dips down making himself smaller to avoid contact. That why you see so many swipes at his helmet as defenders grab air. There's nothing to hit.

He does. He clogs the middle. Posters on here aren't coaches for a reason.
