Jimmy really wanted him but Jimmy didn't take long to move on from players that didn't meet expectations. I think he was cut, re-signed and cut in his 2nd seasonSmagala was fast for a white guy. I believe he was 4.2 or 4.3 forty.Just too small for safety
Good. Spellman and Underwood were the psychiatrist’s nightmare.
This is the thread where you name a player that you forgot ever played for the Cowboys, but if for some random reason you heard the name, you would say: "Didn't he play for the Cowboys at one time?"
I'll start: Barron Wortham, LB 2000.
That was such an awesome trade.Te OJ Santiago

It was Timmy Newsome who muffed the kickoff at the two, it rolled out of bounds at the one. This is per the official gamebook, available at DallasCowboys.comOh and Rod Hill, who is about as forgettable a first round selection as there could be. Someone may want to check me on this, but I believe he was the individual responsible for setting up Dorsett’s historic 99+ yard gallop when he fumbled the Vikings kickoff out inside our own one.
I believe this is true, but if proven wrong, I’ll happily circle back and make apologies to #25.
Peete led us to a win at Philly in 1994. He certainly earned my respect.Peerless Price, Rodney Peete, Martin Gramatica
We could have had Tony Gonzales instead. Troy chose the wrong TE that year!David LaFluer.
The Chiefs took Gonzalez nine picks ahead of the Cowboys. Was that Troy's fault? We could have had Tony Gonzales instead. Troy chose the wrong TE that year!
