I really wanted Charles Woodson when he left Oakland. I did post here at the time, I posted at another Cowboys message board, but over there I was assured that he was an underachiever and whatever he could do in the past was left there. DPOY, several pro bowls and a Super Bowl later and he is probably a Hall of Famer.

Wanted Irvin and Jimmy Johnson, was a yuuuge hurricanes fan as kid!

Randy Moss was the all time greatest want and subsequent soul crushing heart break! The causality of this one still make me feel kicked in the gut! Just wanted one year at least of Aikman throwing to moss and irvin, would've prolonged everones career imo and 2 more rings minimum! And would've never traded 2 firsts for Galloway

I wasn't sold on Moss. Yikes. Talk about a miss.

I admit I wanted big Mike Willams WR usc

Wanted Rocket Ismail over R maryland

The team was going to draft Ismail, and he was the reason they traded up to the first overall pick to begin with. However, he signed with the Canadian football league and wasn't available. Maryland was damage control in what was a huge goof by Johnson.

That's like me with Aaron Donald... except that I really liked Zack Martin as well. I just liked Donald better.

That was a good year for me as my "best player in the draft" was Khalil Mack and the guy I wanted second was Aaron Donald. I wasn't a big Clowny fan and thought Mack would be way better. Mack was ferocious on the little video I could see from Buffalo.

I didn't like Ryan Shazier very much, so I was glad that Pitt took him before we could, allowing us to snag Martin.

Missing out so narrowly on Donald though was a heartbreaker for me, regardless of how good Zack is.
