I swear I have a point here...
So I’m playing Memory with my toddler. It’s the game where you have all the cards face down and when you select one, you need to remember where the other one you might have overturned earlier is.
Well, my son has some sort of photographic memory or something because he’s pulling up cards left and right. He’s clearly better at remembering than me.
Anyway, what I have is greater understanding how to approach the game to maximize my ability to win. He keeps overturning the same first card reducing the number of cards he sees in half. Whereas I understand you overturn new cards then when you see a card you go back to where you originally saw the other.
I thought about the Cowboys in this. Clearly my son is more talented in this game. But I always ended up pulling out the win. Because I have a better, more mature understanding of strategy and game planning. My son is sabotaging his ability to win based on lack of full understanding of the game.
This all goes back to the Cowboys. I sadly feel they are playing to overcome so much each week because they aren’t properly prepared with an approach for how to maximize their chance to win. Patriots, opposite issue. Patriots are like me. Undermanned in the talent department but wise in how to maximize chance to win despite this.
Bottom line: Fire Garrett
Lol
