It put this into a spreadsheet and it says.....the draft is not bad but the trade is probably not realistic for either the Cowboys or the Jets. The Jets give up draft picks and have to spend significant money on the players. The should have just signed some Free Agents. The Cowboys would really be hampering their probability of being a good team in 2013.

1st l OT/OG DJ Fluker l Alabama l 6'5 340 5.28
I'm not a fan of drafting him as an OT; however, he would be a really good Guard in a man-blocking scheme. He might be OK in Callahan's ZBS at OG but I'm not certain.

2nd l OT/OG/TE Terron Armstead l Arkansas-Pine Bluff l 6'5 310 4.65
I guess that you're definitely planning to move Fluker to OG. 2nd l SDE Cornelius “Tank” Carradine l FSU l 6'5 275 4.75
Good pick here but you might have to take him with the first 2nd round pick to get him.

3rd l FS Phillip Thomas l Fresno State l 6’1 210 4.57
Good pick here.

3rd l 1 Tech DT Brandon Williams l Missouri Southern l 6'1 335 5.32

I don't think he falls this far. At 335 lbs he had the best 10-yard time of all DL at the combine.

4th l WR Kenny Stills l Oklahoma l 6’1 195 4.32

Good pick here.

4th l OG/C JC Tretter l Cornell l 6’4 310 5.03
Good pick here, although I keep thinking the one of the proven but injured OL (Dallas Thomas, Chris Faulk, Barrett Jones, Brennen Williams) are going to be available in the 4th.

5th l RB Latavius Murray l UCF l 6’3 225 4.39

This is the one player that I have not studied. That is an incredible forty time for his size and his other measureables are very good also.

6th l SLB/SS Cooper Taylor l Richmond l 6'4 230 4.55
Good pick here. He seems like a great project to convert to LB in Kiffin's scheme.

LOL. Thanks for taking the snide in stride. If no trades then the Tank pick and Stills pick is not as important. Cowboys take an OL in the first and a DT/FS with the second or third picks. If Cowboys have heart set on both Thomas and BWilliams then trade up from the 4th and a future pick.

Callahan does not play a strict ZBS. He has not done so since he was with the Raiders. He has employed a hybrid of man power and zone.

2nd l OT/OG/TE Terron Armstead l Arkansas-Pine Bluff l 6'5 310 4.65

Yep. My intention with Fluker is to make him a nastier Leonard Davis at guard. His feet and agility may not be great at OT but not a liability at OG. His forte is run blocking and his pass blocking is good enough if playing inside.

2nd l SDE Cornelius “Tank” Carradine l FSU l 6'5 275 4.75

If Spencer is kept, then pick is not as necessary. We hope.

3rd l FS Phillip Thomas l Fresno State l 6’1 210 4.57
Good pick here.

Cowboys seem to like him too. And he is a true FS with ballhawk skills. Not a special athlete but uses his anticipation and instincts to make plays.

3rd l 1 Tech DT Brandon Williams l Missouri Southern l 6'1 335 5.32
I don't think he falls this far. At 335 lbs he had the best 10-yard time of all DL at the combine.

I agree. If I were the Cowboys I would trade up to get him. BWilliams allows the Cowboys to rotate Rat and Hatcher at the 3 tech to keep them fresh and effective. He also has similar power/pass rush combo skills like Lotulelei but at a much better price. Williams is also a RKG with high upside.

4th l WR Kenny Stills l Oklahoma l 6’1 195 4.32

Good pick here.

Like this player too, not only is he lightning fast he is very tough, but a luxury pick with Miles Austin on the roster. Not to mention Coale, Beasley, Harris, etc. Cowboys would need to go UDFA fishing (unless the injured Josh Boyce falls out of the draft) for projects.

4th l OG/C JC Tretter l Cornell l 6’4 310 5.03
Good pick here, although I keep thinking the one of the proven but injured OL (Dallas Thomas, Chris Faulk, Barrett Jones, Brennen Williams) are going to be available in the 4th.

I really like the smarts, work ethic, athleticism and upside of this kid. He is not just fast and quick but strong, and not just weight room strong, but functionally strong. Would be a good guard, but could be a pro bowl center. But another luxury pick so Cowboys may opt to draft SDE (just in case Spencer does not pan out, or to replace/rotate with Ware) - moneyball guys like Q Smith, Brandon Jenkins or Stansly Maponga. Maybe even Princeton's Catapano.

5th l RB Latavius Murray l UCF l 6’3 225 4.39

Cowboys should not miss a beat if the other Murray goes down. Latavius could even put on a few more pounds and play FB. He is that physical of a player.

6th l SLB/SS Cooper Taylor l Richmond l 6'4 230 4.55
Good pick here. He seems like a great project to convert to LB in Kiffin's scheme.

If not for his medical condition, this kid goes much higher. He left Georgia Tech's program after a superb frosh season because of his medical condition (discovered early in his soph season). His WPW Syndrome appears to be stabilized now. He was a beast in 2012 after transferring to Richmond in 2011. He was All CAA both years and D player of the week multiple times.
