No true #1 WR on this team. These relatively unknown DBs - aside from Woodson - are completely taking away our WRs. We're making these guys look like Lester Hayes and Eric Wright back there. If Oakland had a hint of a pass rush, we'd be dead in the water by now.

Press defense kills us. Key too slow, Glenn too small to get out of it. Just do that and stick men on Witten, and you win if Julius can't start running better.

Well then its a good thing they dont. We are hanging with em. I hate these close games. Why cant we be good enough to stomp the crap out of pple.

If our running game were more dominant we could get by with this receiving corps the same way SD and KC do. However, we aren't so teams can reasonably contain our running game with the front 7 and not allow mismatches downfield.

Johnson, Rivera and Allen have not been getting the job done up the middle this year.

Our WRs are fine. We can't do anything else consistantly right now. No consistant ground game really hurts your team no matter who you are now.

Our WRs have looked good until now. Hopefully this is just a bad game and that is it. But I am thinking WR is a top need come this off season. We need a real playmaker at WR and we just dont have one.

I don't think you need a playmaker at WR if you have some other good players like TE and RB for instance. We have those IMO. It's just we haven't been able to utilize them well in this game.

I can't bang on our receivers much when Bledsoe/Payton/Parcells haven't even attempted a deep pass. I makes things difficult on JJ and makes us predictable on O. Hopefully it is a set-up and we will unleash our aerial fury in the second half. Woodson's been all over Key most of the time. Way too early to panic, but inexcusible not to at least try to get Glenn off deep against their other shaky corners/safeties.

Need to bring Witten in the game. I thought the whole thing with Bledsoe was that he loved Coates. You'd think he'd look to his TE more often. Maybe people were right, he looks to make the big play too much. I've seen him miss his running backs and tight ends for gimme throws a lot.
