I don't know if you have all noticed but there is a different kind of culture brewing this year. One more year in and the Garrett/Ryan connection is beginning to really see what they had envisioned when they each took over their respective roles. This preseason has been filled with scrappers. Guys that are out there to really prove their worth right now versus showcasing for appointment elsewhere. The scouting has been incredible lately. I also think Garrett is really going to reap major dividends from having bill Callahan at his side. The excitement is all over my personal space. I just can't fight it.

My very quick observations of a few key areas. .

WR - Coale might end up being the odd man out. I'm very high onBeastley and Holmes really showed some tough athleticism out there last night.

QB - I would still take a chance on keeping two QBs. We can use that extra spot to further solidify special teams.

RB - I am still asleep awaiting that long desired wake up call to advise that glass man has been traded. I would go with Murray, Tanner, and Dunbar in a heartbeat... guess that's why I don't make the big bucks.. lol.. Seriously.. for the 3rd year in a row I plead to the Cowboys brass. Please trade Felix.

LB - Lee is game ready. His reaction reminds me a little of a Junior Seau type. Let me explain. In a very short period of time he has absorbed this system ten times over and reacts almost as if he knows the play before it happens. We haven't had that type of talent at LB in a very long time. Rest assured, Bruce Carter will complete the circle at that ILB position. He will get better as the year progresses. OK.. once again.. my boy vBut deserves game time period. Go get value for Spencer because he will not be happy watching Victor. The so called "bottom churners" at this position are even exhibiting the type of talent that can help in a pinch or come up big on special teams.

Oline - Sue me if you want.. You know I don't care. I don't subscribe to the general discontent over how we look on the line. Is Free overpaid? YUP. I couldn't care less. I happen to think this line is going to be alright. Once again, Callahan will pay for himself ten fold in building a cohesive unit whose sum of it's collective parts will bring consistency to the offense.

When you see that final 53 this year, there will be no doubt that our overall talent quotient has risen significantly.

Wow, Bleu............Wisconsin is suddenly without a major resource. :D

Beat cheese on the planet. Buy it and ride with me to this game one win.

Danny Coale is the odd man out. Thoughts? even though he barely breaks 150lbs wet, I think Cole Beasley is going to really impress this year. The new hemet to helmet safety rules give the advantage back to the QBs and WRs. Beastley will thrive.

Also, for anyone upset about the Coale cut, keep in mind that in most situations he would have made the team. Yes.. the foot didn't help but I also believe cutting a 5th rounder says a lot about the skill level of our new stable of WRs top to bottom.
