Just for half a day.....one game. Come on whaddya say, peeps!
I applaud this message, but it won’t happen.
The game would be enjoyable if fans could keep hope alive and support every player until the final whistle and then start the criticism and name calling, but it won’t last beyond the first Dallas punt or TB first down. Follow along…..Dak throws an incomplete pass, even if thrown in the ground or high where no one had a chance but the receiver; Moore calls a run on 3rd and 4 or a pass on 3rd and 1 that doesn’t work; the OL gives up a sack; a receiver drops a pass; the DL doesn’t get pressure; the CB gives up a first down; TB runs for 8 yards, Maher misses a FG, we punt 3-4 times in the first half……it won’t even matter what the score is, suddenly the players suck, the coach should be fired because he’s stupid or didn’t have the team ready for a playoff game, the game is over, we have no chance.
That’s usually when the controversy and stupid arguments begin because this fan base would rather be right in an argument than win a game. Hell, we’ve all seen it. Many fans don't even want to enjoy a victory. They would rather point out bad plays to support an argument than actually pop open a beer and celebrate with fellow fans.
