I don't know about you guys but after looking at these games over the weekend, I seriously didn't see a team clearly better than the Cowboys. It's too bad what could have been....

I kind of have the opposite feeling. What I saw from most of the 8 teams kind of showed me why we just weren't ready this year. Consistently winning, or at least competing in huge games is something I just didn't see this year.

we hit our stride in the middle of the season but we were outcoached and outplayed against the Saints and it was all downhill from there. it is still inexplicable to me how we could not manage to attack the Seahawks secondary... for that reason i will put 60 percent of the blame on parcells and 40 on lack of experience or talent. upgrading our OL and front 7 on D should be our major focus this offseason, and i think we'll make the playoffs again next year, hopefully with better results...

People are fond of throwing that "You are what you are" quote in Parcells face but the reality is that Seattle isnt any better than we are and the Bears arent much better than that. Romo tries that hold 49 more times and he makes it all 49 I bet. Its can be game of inches sometimes luck doesnt fall your way. Unfortunately the mentality of some fans is the "Find someone to blame / Black and white/He's either great or he sucks and should be fired" type of mindset.
In other words acting like Eagle fans.

Yeah, I am with you. I saw two things in particular that really stand out to me. Nothing earth shattering as everyone has been complaining about this for years now.

What I saw were teams that knew how to rush the passer and teams who had much better OLs. When we fix those two issues only then will Dallas be true contenders.

You don't remember our record against the AFC this year huh....

Lets see we beat Indy, Texans, and Titans.

Lost to Jacksonville.

I would not make to much of beating the Texans and Titans.

If want to make a case that beating Indy is the same as beating them in the playoffs be my guest. Now that you are basing things on one game what do you make of our last six games?

We didnt play the Chargers, the Ravens or the Patriots.

But we did beat the Colts who just may make the Superbowl.

So I guess you could argue either way.
