Fans growing up or not, players know about the history, and they won't want to be part of a team that let down the legacy, it's still a part of this game...

Besides, I'm sure Jerry has spoken to the players about past history with the 49ers, I don't think the majority of NFL players are mindless robots just out to make a quick buck, I know a few college players who desperately wanted to play in the NFL but just weren't good enough, and it really dashed their dreams.

And you can't play in the NFL, with the level of competition that is in the league, without a good bit of emotion, imho.

Sorry, I do think the history of games with the 49ers does matter to a lot if not most of the Cowboys players...

Big dog--- i heard Shannon Sharp talke on Undisputed how SF will run down our throats and we have no answer?

they forgot one very important ingredient....DC Quinn preparing his unit for SF....do not fall to all the window dressing of pre-snap fakes...stay in your lanes and capture the edge....if Moore and dak

can lay out desgined scheme to push the ball and score early it will help against this run first team...if we can maintain our yearly average of being very good on 3rd down and getting off the field

it will help our defense to stay fresh....along with solid rotation we can be the new and improved "Buzz saw" defense to but a crimp into Shannahan's offensive attack...and our O line has to be

prepared to play their best and push back D-line and play smash mouth football...and i am trusting our coaches to prepare our healthy team both on offense and defense....come Monday we will

be warming ourselves up in winners circle....just the way it is...Dak says this is the year to run for Lombardi...after Sunday no one will want to play Dallas Cowboys....just stating truth
 
Ghosts from the 70s and 90s have nothing to do with this Sunday. Us older fans remember those games, but most players do not.

The uniforms look familiar, but this is a different era. It's simply about which team makes the plays to win this Sunday.

I no longer have a family but I appreciate the sentiment. No matter what happens, don't let it wreck your well-being.

We all want the Cowboys to win, but it's just a football game and we aren't playing in it. Monday comes, either way.
