I stop wishing for teams a long time ago. Hope for a cowboy victory because that means first two games (if we get that far) are at home and could even get a third home game. As for who we play, who cares, just beat the team in front of you.

If the curse has been lifted with Jimmy’s induction— Dallas wins the NFCE and our first playoff opponent will be GB.

We gotta exorcise those ghosts from playoffs past— and we OWE the Packers big time.

Time for some payback
Amen!!!:hammer:

I hope so. It would be delicious to eliminate them in round one and then send Philly home in round two.
Philly and Detroit may not get out of the wild card.

GB, Seattle, LA all enter the playoffs by winning and even losing to not so good of teams.
so not really concerned with any of them if we are at home as the 2 seed.

Going to TB or even Atlanta as the #5 is good for us as well. Prefer Atlanta. I prefer not to go to NO, not that,I,fear them, but jist not a good venue for us to play in.
TB could be more tough than Atlanta. Who can still win the division.

However if we are 2 seed, and Philly is 5, what team is their worse match up, NO or TB. I don’t think it is Atlanta.
I rather play two home games, than 2 on the road. any day of the week.

so I like the 2 seed and playing at home.

I'm not sure how their seeding will look, but I do think they are one of the better nfc teams.

I think the Rams are under rated though and I'd look for them as a potential upset with any round one opponent.

Homefield for two games is the huge advantage.
Beat the Commodes week 18 is all I am concerned about.
Need the 2 seed and it is within our grasp.

we haven't been as sharp and left point off the board. the stupid fumbles in both Miami and Detroit game that could have put the game away. clock management. lack of run defense.
It also appears that our offense is played through Lamb and that’s about it. We haven’t seen Fergs really do anything in weeks, and Schoonmaker has vanished. No Turpin, and Gallup has also vanished.

I see our most likely opponent in the first round being Green Bay.

Carson Wentz is starting for the Rams this week. McVay is resting Stafford for the playoffs. If they lose and the Packers win, LA will fall to the 7th seed.
