It's that time. I 'believe it's too early. Starting this week I have started to take a interest in the other games and there effect on the Cowboys playoff chances. Next week marks the half way point of the season. It's time to for the pieces to start falling into place.
Dallas @ Philadelphia: Obviously the biggest game of the year for the Cowboys and could decide the Cowboys chances in the East at the half way point. Dallas cant fall behind the Eagles who are already 2-0 in the division.
Arizona @ Chicago: H2H this game means very little. It really comes down to getting one team out of the way. Chicago is not going to catch Minnesota, Arizona plays in a very weak NFC West. I see the long term benefit for Dallas coming in a Arizona win. Chicago could be a player for that wild card spot.
Washington @ Atlanta: Already have the H2H with Atlanta. Hate to see Washington win but it would benefit Dallas IMO. Falcons are a player for the wild card.
Green Bay @ Tampa Bay: Obviously a Tampa Bay win helps for several reason but the odds are slim and none.........next
Carolina @ New Orleans: Saints are likely to take the division. We have the H2H on Carolina. I guess if your thinking home filed root for the Panthers. If you just want to make the show the smart bet it too root for the Saints.
Detroit @ Seattle: Who cares.......
Tennessee @ San Francisco: Titans win helps no matter how you cut it.
San Diego @ NY Giants: Do we even need to go over this one?
Depending on your ideal scenario, you may hope for different results. I just want to get into the show. Not worried about home field or divisional crowns.
