There's a reasonable chance that 9 wins gets it done for the division (assuming one of those wins is the second game with the Eagles). 10 is probably a very safe bet if we beat the Eagles. Positioning wise, it appears as though anything higher than the 4 seed is going to be very tough.

The 49ers' schedule toughens up in a big way over the second half of the season (only 1 of their final 9 games is against a team currently below .500). Would not surprise me to see them lose half of those but I doubt they fall to 10-6. We've already lost the tie breaker to the Saints and Packers. The Saints and Jets losses are likely to haunt us the rest of the season.

I'm thinking if Dallas doesn't go 12-4 they're done. To squeak in at 9-7 or 10-6 won't cut it. Don't expect miracles from this team. I want to see this Cowboys team come out like they did in 2016 and methodically defeat each team one by one with minimal bumps in the road. All 12-4 records are not equal. If this team wins their games minus maybe against the Patriots, I could honestly say, yeah, they're a SB contender.

Seems like the division is definitely hot and cold.

But 4 Super Bowl appearances and 3 victories over the last 15 years has to be the most out of any division outside of the Pats. I could be wrong and don’t feel like researching it. Obviously we all wish we were included in those numbers.

Also seems like we send two teams to the playoffs on a regular basis.

It is a tough looking schedule. We are going to have to be more consistent than we have been because a big reason we are in first place in the division because the overall division has been weak.
