For those of you who have been able to keep track of the playoff picture, I commend you. Since the Saints beat the Falcons, does this help the Cowboys? A loss to the Giants does what to us?

How much help do we need if we lose to the G-men? I would think we need some kind of help, but not sure. Any help from the die-hards would be helpful. Thanks.

It's pretty simple at this point, Win and We are in.. Lose and we go home. No help needed. Playoffs start Sunday night for both teams, winner take all.

You sure? Lose and we get nothing? If of course we take of our business we are in and host a Wild Card game. But I think we could lose and still be in business if things fall into place.

If the Cowboys lose, they are out. There is no help to save them.

No we cannot make the playoffs at 8-8. Atlanta and Detroit already have 9 wins. If we win we'll probably play Detroit. Green Bay will probably rest Rodgers this week so they should win that game.

I am pretty sure the loss to the Eagles closed out any chances at a wild card. So its win or go home. NFL>COM is showing that both wildcard teams are set at DEt and ATL so it's win or go home.

We blew any chance for a wildcard when we decided after the Giants win that the Philly game was meaningless.

I found out from nfl.com that if we lose we can still make the playoffs

NEXT YEAR...LOL

OP this was a very stupid question

i would not play stafford if i was the lions this week with his injury history.

If Dallas does win the division, when will they play the next week? Saturday or Sunday? Early or late?

Of course they will play on Saturday since they are the lower seed

If we had beaten the Eagles, we'd be in with a loss and a Falcons loss because I believe we had the tiebreakers. However now, 5 of the 6 playoff spots in the NFC have already been decided. The final spot is either the Giants or Cowboys. As other posters have stated, this is essentially our first round playoff game.

No worries. Gonna wear my new HOME Sean Lee jersey and we'll win. :D

??? Where'd you get that?

In 2009 Dallas was the higher seed and played on Saturday night.

If the niners or saints are playing as the 3 seed, I see their game being on Sunday while the cowboys will play the falcons on sat night

Since Dallas plays late game in NY does that factor in
the scheduling of playoff game?

That is BS. As previous poster said, Dallas was the third seed in 2009 and played the early game on Saturday night. How does that fit your theory above?
