A hypothetical playoff question

what if 3 teams have the same record.

Team A has head to head advantage over team B
Team B has head to head advantage over team C
Team c has head to head advantage over team A

the head to head stuff no longer matters right?

I dont think the head to head stuff is that clear if it is a 3 team tie (but I really am cluless about this stuff).
