These are the 7 teams for 6 spots.

Saints are Locked

Minnesota - We need them to lose to lose to Cincinnati this week so that they will be playing for a bye the last week against the giants. With loss to cinci and arizona winning out they would have to beat the giants or loss the bye.

Cardinals - 3 Easy games and with 1 minnesota loss they will be playing for a bye due to head to head.

Cowboys - currently the 4th seed and dont see us climbing up any higher unless we win out. We have to beat San Diego. Lose to New Orleans. Beat Commanders. The Eagles game will be for the division. We either win or we go to 6th seed. 11-5 Division

Eagles - are 5th. I know it sucks back to back looking more and more likely.
3 of 4 are tough. Giants against the wall the rest of the way but eagles win. Broncos playing for their life and Dawkins will have them ready but eagles win. Cowboys will win. 11-5

Greenbay - 6th Pittsburgh at Heinz with Pittsburgh playoffs on line will be tough. Arizona possibly playing for a bye in zona will be tough. 10-6

Giants - We need them to lose the eagles game and the last game against the vikings to finish 9-7. If they beat the eagles then we pray for washington to pull off an upset if not then they go to 10-6 and we are then playing the eagles to just get in which might be better because it would put the eagles out and we would not face them again the next week but then we would get the giants in the meadowlands. Alot hinges on the eagles/giants game.

It is looking a lot like our first playoff game will be against a division foe.

There are alot of scenarios still possible but the best case is 3-1 or 4-0. 2-2 most likely we are out unless giants go to 9-7. 1-3 we are out.

3 teams are locks. That leaves 4 teams for 3 spots and 2 have the tie breaker over us. This is going to be a tough month. We are finally gonna get the answer to what this team is.

Agreed that the playoffs begin now....as I showed in another post about the playoffs here, I have found a scenario where we have to win 3 out of the last 4 to even make it in. We need the Packers to lose so that we can go 2-2.

Most scenarios that I did with us being 2-2 got us in....but I did find that one that required 3. It was dependent on the Packers winning out though.

The Cowboys are playing a San Diego team that is red hot with Denver on their heels.The following week a Saints team that still won't have home field locked the week they play Dallas (unless Minnesota loses the prior week) so they have alot still to play for. Dallas by far has the toughest remaining schedule compared to their NFC East counterparts. I'd say Dallas wins the division the final week against the Eagles going 2-2 the next four games.

I am thinking (with Wade's attitude) we go 0-3 and than the Eagle game probably won't matter. If it does matter, the eagles will wipe the carpet with Wade's and the Cowboys carcasses (if Wade is still around). Three days off for this team is just plain stupid!

I am not sure that about 40% of the players even care! The way some played, it is pretty obvious. Many are here just to get a paycheck from Jerry Jones.

Only homers will pick the Cowboys to win any of these games. Ok, maybe Washington, but I doubt even that one, when that week arrives.

I was raised to concede nothing, ever. New Orleans got a perfect game together for NE, then needed a few freak plays to pull it off in overtime against Washington.

We can take them, but I would feel a little better about it with Ken Hamlin back in the line up.
