Dont know if already posted but:

. Giants win division with a win in next weeks game against Wash.

. Giants win division if Dallas wins this week, and lose one of their final two games.

. Wash. wins division if they win final 3 games.

. Dallas wins division if the win final 3 games, and the Giants Lose next week. Does not matter if the Giants lose to Oakland no effect on the division standings.

Washington would need the Giants to lose to Oakland, or the Giants would be 11-5 and Washington 10-6.

Wrong. If the Giants lose to the Commanders and beat the Raiders, they finish 11-5. Dallas also finishes 11-5 if they win out. Both teams, in this scenario, would also finish 4-2 in the division. And unfortunately for the Cowboys, the next tiebreaker is NOT conference record...it's record vs common opponents, which the Giants have the advantage in.

Bottom line: only way the Cowboys win the division is if they win out and the Giants lose BOTH of their final 2 games. Pretty unlikely scenario.

(Incidentally, if this scenario actually happened, and if the Bears lose 2 of their final 3 games, the Cowboys would be the #2 seed in the NFC and get a 1st round bye.)

i doubt giants lose to Commanders and oakland.

Still think cowboys make it as #5 seed and play #4. Hoping we play the bears for a wild card game. But regardless, A win against the #4 seed which is entirely possible will likely have us going to seattle, unless the # 6 seed wins against # 3.

I'd rather play Tampa Bay or Carolina than Chicago in the first round

I am hoping we get a shot at the Giants again this year. If we go with a more open offense like we did against KC we will beat them.

What would happen if Dallas won 2 of their last 3 games and tied 1 while the Giants tied their last 2 games and the Commanders win all 3 of their games?

Not me - we'd need to score 13 points to beat the Bears. Perhaps I'd rather play the Bucs, but I don't want anything to do with Steve Smith.

Playoff scenarios.....the reason why EVERY game is important....not just at the end of the season.

Too many times have I seen posts about games at the end of the year being a "need to win" game.

We NEEDED to win every game that we play.

I get sick and tired of hearing a coach or player at the beginning of the year after a loss say, "Well, it's early in the season....". Well, guess what....that loss or losses at the beginning of the season really make a difference now doesn't it!?!?!?!?!

I honestly would rather play seattle than any of those three teams on the road. We already beat seattle...more or less in their place...and all of those defenses just scare the crap out of me. I can see us losing to those three teams like 13-6
