Me too. I can already hear the media narrative leading up to the game..."only ___ times in history has a team defeated another team 3x in a season". It will get in our guys heads and it will motivate the Skins.
just like the 07 season with the giants, they talked for two years about Dallas, guaranteed wins 3 straight games and lost, brandon jacobs said they would meet us at the airport and fight us at the tarmac the night before the game at NY in november of 07, they started fights, taunted and threw some cheap shots in.....
then when the playoff game was set somehow the national narrative was all about the one comment made from Dallas by Patrick crayton, everything previous for two years was completely ignored....it became all about the under dog giants beating the big mouth cowboys...and nothing could have been further from the truth, they had more free agents than we did and spent more money but somehow Dallas was the big mouth cocky team....
it still drives me nuts how the ny media twisted all that and the dallas media never thought NY could actually win. Still makes me mad.
Same thing will happen this time with washington if we play them again, the National media will take Dez's words and turn it into Dallas is a bunch of loud mouth arrogant prima donnas who need to be put in their place.
I don't want any part of that and I am glad to see dez said last night he shouldn't have said what he said. I don't want any part of what a third game vs washington would be.
