I believe this week against the Seabags will define the Dallas Cowboys team
of 2005. We must now starting beating the good teams on the road.

We win this game - we are in the playoffs and teams do not want to play us.

What would be a real message to NFL - We go in there and throttle them. That puts us Tier One NFC contenders. With Bledsoe as our QB Wildcard - we get JJ on milk and healthy - we are a formidable offense. Our D is turning into a high pressure D that is starting to make plays.

Big Game (aren't they all)

I say next week against the Cards is the real test, we beat the Hawks on the road last year. We beat the Eagles at home. What we really need to prove is that we can beat a bad team at home. We haven't been able to do that yet.

I do not think one single game this year will define the Cowboys.
I think each win is just one block on the foundation.
I think when we win that first playoff game that will define the Cowboys.

First week I said boy if we beat SD then that tells me this is a real SB contender and we did.
then we get beat by the Skins .
Then we beat SF but far from convincingly. Then I think wow another 8-8 season.
Then we get beat by the winless Raiders and then I am hoping for 8-8 season.
Then we destroy Philly and I am thinking we turned the corner here.
Then we beat what I think is a good Giant team and we are not even at our best and now I am feeling big things , but If we Loose this week then we are closer to .500 than we are a playoff team at 4-3 and that could possibly drop us way out of first place.

So now each week I will root strong and I will root loud and hope the wins keep coming cause I enjoy watching the Sunday night game and when the Boys loose there are NO more sports in my house til I am finished grieving.

I hear what you're saying, leonargized, but losing this week to a good team in their house shouldn't mean we aren't a playoff team, IMHO. However we have a good chance to win and, like you, I hope the wins keep coming.

What is interesting to me is that this is the third week in a row we have faced the # 1 offense in the NFC! Our Defense took those honors away from both Philly and the Giants. Let's make in three in a row, Big D!!

I am glad the Seahawks spanked a horrendous Texan team because they will be coasting along this week. Then the way more physical Cowboys will come out on Sunday and push them around on both sides of the ball.

The Cowboys will win this one easily. Who the heck is Hasslebeck going to throw to when he needs a first down? The Cowboys defense will dominate that one dimensional Seahawk offense and get ahead by some points. Then Demarcus Ware and the Cowboys defense pins their ears back and nails Hassleback for four second half sacks and two interceptions.

Really to me the true test will be at home against the Cardinals, these guys are far from bad, and really have been hendered by a horrible defense. They have two great recievers in Boldin and Larry, to me it's not about beating teams with winning records, it's about beating the teams with losing records, s far we are only 1-1 against those. To be able to be in the playoffs in this league, you have to beat the teams your suppose to, and it starts with the cardinals.

I agree with you .
I guess I meant that in my mind every week is of equal importence and If we beat the Hawks but then loose the next 2 or we get beat by the Hawks then win the next three , then that one win or loss would not of meant alot in the big scheme of things

If we would win 10 or 12 games this year then most media may say it was a fluke and they(Cowboys) will not do well in the playoffs .

That is what I meant by we have to win a playoff game and until we do we will not be considered contenders.

Personally I am estatic about this team and it is fun watching the progress.
