They're wrong. I logged into Ticketmaster 45 minutes after they went on sale and had the opportunity to buy.

If you're still interested, you may want to check through dallascowboys.com or through ticketmaster.com around 10:00 a.m. Central time on Friday, 12.22.2006. DC.com says that any remaining tickets will be released then.

I hope this does not backfire, selling home tickets for a playoff game before we know if we will play a home playoff game. This city all too well remembers how that type of thinking kicks you in the rear.

The Mavs up 2-0 on the Heat in two absolutely dominating performances, then the city releases its plans to have a Championship parade. The Mavs then lose 4 straight to a lesser team.

I hope this selling of home playoff tickets before we even play Philly does not backfire in the same way.

A parade plan is much different than selling tickets. Here's the rationale: If you sell Cowboys tickets now before a game is even scheduled against an unknown opponent, then only Cowboys fans (and scalpers) will buy the tickets. If you wait to sell the tickets until there's a hypothetical home game December 6th at 3:00 PM hosting the Giants, dont you think Giants fans are going to be just as eager clogging up the bandwidth to buy these seats? It's a tactic most teams in the NFL use.

I tried Tuesday, they were sold out.
Heard an announcement this morning [Friday]
2nd allotment went on sale. I got mine, $154, but worth it.

they werent sold out within 4 minutes. I logged in about 11 minutes after the start of the sale and could have purchased 2 tickets if I needed them in section 115. They're sold out, but it was definitely much longer than 4 minutes.

Local radio here in DFW said it was 19 minutes for the first allotment. more went on sale Friday. I was able to get 2 at $154, in the first 10 minutes.
