Last night highlights exactly why I laugh whenever anyone says Winston is going to be a great pro.

He stinks, he showed he stinks, and his maturity level is about as low as it can possibly be for a QB at a big time college program.

This guy is a major bust waiting to happen.

I did pick Oregon to beat Florida State, but that was a classic sno-ball game.

The score was 25-20 with 8 minutes in the 3rd and then, what was it, 5 turnovers in one quarter? wow.
I saw the one where Winston was trying to get out of trouble, fell backwards and dropped the ball and the Oregon guy just picked it up and ran the distance for a score. then 4 others in one quarter...some where the ball went right through a players hand and others where the defense made nice strips.
weird stuff. and college football. lol
They are kids and momentum can be huge.

Oregon looked good! Very deserving.

Hats off to the defending champion 'Noles who finally lost after going undefeated for more than 2 years.
At least they lost the game on the field and not in some dumbarse poll.

Looking forward to when there are 8 teams, so deserving teams like TCU won't be left out of the mix..

Ok to have an opinion.
I'm no Winston fan (at all) but I disagree, if you think this guy can't play at the next level.
Let's check back in in two years and see how it goes.

I never thought we would get the point of actually having a playoff system for college football. Count me as one of those who screamed FINALLY when that announcement was made. Now the wait is for expanding the field to 8 teams. I'm against a 16 team playoff tournament. Hopefully the TV ratings will be so overwhelming those who make big time decisions will see how popular these games are over regular bowl games and be moved to expand. Even if it takes several years for that to happen, we at least have college playoffs. And a champion will be decided on the field of play. Finally.

I couldn't believe some of those calls. If we did something like that this place would explode.

No. Braxton Miller is still the man.

http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/01/06/lsu-latest-school-connected-to-braxton-miller/

No one even knows if Braxton Miller will actually transfer from Ohio State, but that hasn’t stopped the rumor mill from churning out potential landing spots for the quarterback.

Already, Florida State, Oregon and Duke have been mentioned as potential transfer destinations. Now, a fourth school has been added into the potential mix.

Citing unnamed sources, television station WAFB in Baton Rouge wrote on its website that “there is a likely scenario that two-time Big 10 MVP Braxton Miller could be leaving Ohio State to play for LSU.” What that “likely scenario” may be was never made clear, and there was precious little detail contained in the report.
