Playoffs Baby!!! (Optimists Only)

Hey Zoners

Tough month, but hey, we are going to the playoffs. It is a new week and all that the Cowboys can do is move on and start preparing for the ChickenHawks next week.

All we can do as fans is rally behind this team and hope that we pull it off. I know I will be in front of the TV cheering for America's Team. Whats done is done and we (fans and team) have to put it all behind us.

If you are not optimistic about it and have written off the season, then you do not have to watch the game at all. If we lose we lose, and I accept that. It is not something I would wish upon this team.

i actually like our chances BETTER on the road, where we have won 3 straight, playing a team we haven't faced this year....

rather than at home, where we have lost 3 straight, playing a divisional opponent. so maybe this is a blessing in disguise.


20 teams went home today, and we're not one of them.

Agree. Rather be in em than not! I live in Charlotte, and I guarantee ya that the Panthers would give anything to be able to go to Seattle next week!

I know this thread is intended to look at the bright side. I had someone tell me the other day that I should be happy that we finish at 9-7 since his team was in the crapper. I said excuse me, but mediocrity is unacceptable for the Dallas Cowboys. There are some teams in pro sports where just making the playoffs is acceptable. Not in Big D. We are about Championships and anything less is a disappointment. That's how I feel today. I'm not excited about just making the playoffs. One and done does nothing for me if that's the way it ends.

Nice amount of posts for OUR Dallas Cowboys going to playoffs. Some fans should be ashamed. What happened to diehard, non-conditional fans... wow...

We are in the "tournament" and that was the goal from Day 1.

Once you are in, anything can happen. Regardless of what anybody says and regardless of whatever trends you are seeing right now...........whomever turns it on from here on out gets to go to the big dance.

Can the Cowboys turn it up a notch or three? I think they can. We've all seen what this team can do when they fire on all cylinders.
