Better yet, who gets home field advantage? That could be the difference maker. I wouldn't want to travel to Chicago for the NFC championship.

Frankly, I don't see a team on that list that we can't beat.

I say TB doesn't get in.

The South is pretty crazy. TB has found a way to win with Simms in there, so that speaks volumes bout the rest of the team.

3 teams from 1 division dont make the playoffs. It's almost impossible for it to happen. After Chicago beat Carolina, if they can keep it up, they may make a case to actually deserve to be in the playoffs.

Don't want to get to involved in "if the season ended today" scenarios but as far as the bears go,right now they have only one conference loss so they would be seeded above us. Their schedule also appears more favorable than ours from here on out.

I think Seattle has the edge for home field in the NFC. They already have the best record right now and their schedule looks pretty favorable.

Sea's remaining schedule

H NYG
A Phi
H SF
A Ten
H Ind
A GB

With that schedule, they should be able to get to 12 wins which should secure them homefield throughout.

Simms won the game for them last week so I don't know why you think he sucks.

I sure wouldn't mind winning the NFC Championship Game in Seattle.

I just see one more definte win on our schedule against the Rams. Besides that the rest of the games could be pick-ems.

Since Tampa, Carolina and Atlanta all play each other, I sawy one of them doesn't get in.

There is a game between 2 of those 3 teams in 4 of the final 6 weeks:

Week 13: Atlanta at Carolina
Week 14: Tampa at Carolina
Week 16: Atlanta at Tampa
Week 17: Carolina at Atlanta

So 1 of those 3 teams will drop out of contention when all is said and done, unless us or the giants have a major free fall. And I don't see us having one.

I think the Falcons will be the odd team out. They just lost two home games in a row to teams they were expected to beat. They are one game behind Carolina and Tampa Bay and still have to play both teams on the road.

Seattle will get home field throughout the playoffs. The winner of the Dallas-Carolina game will get the other bye. The Bears will slip a little, but will still win the division and the #4 seed.

We have a tough, tough six games left, ... well, at least five.

Denver
@ NY
KC
@ Wash
@ Carolina

If we could squeek through these at 3-2 and then beat St Louis, that would make us 11-5.

We have a tough road to hoe.
