Playoffs start next week

I realize if we win next week, we win the division and go to the playoffs, but in all reality the playoffs start a week early for us, we win we advance, we lose we go home.

actually this was the case today, but we were bailed out by the Ravens. next week it's all on us.

Today's game might have meant nothing, win or lose. We could have lost today and still won the division or won today and still missed the playoffs. Either way, most likely, we still would have needed to win next week.

My point is...we win next week we are in, but if we lose thats the season, its playoff atomsphere next week no matter what.

Not necessarily. It depends on other games.

The Bears and Vikings have to lose to Detroit and Green Bay respectively for that to happen.

That being said I'm doubtful more than one team from the East is getting in this year.

looks like whoever wins, will be facing Seattle, after watching their last 2 games and watching them totally dismantling SF right now. buckle up for that.
