Maybe not yawn, but it still sucks.
I wouldnt want a ton of teams in the playoffs, maybe something like each confrence winner plus 2 wild cards.
You can go so many ways from there. Rank the confrence winners and bracket it. You can have pre-determined matchups like Pac-10 winner vs Sun Belt and Big East vs Big 10. etc.
Does hurt reg. season a bit, but the playoffs would make up for it
