Best bundles? Idk..I'd think your best bet would be Ebay, maybe Craigslist.

depends, do you want to be able to play ps2 and ps1 games? Than you have to get the original ps3.

Of course if you trust ebay or some person you don't know you can always go that direction, but i did a lot of shopping for bundles in Dec. for my kid and best deal i found was Wal Mart.

I don't wish to use Ebay.

I buy from EBay so much. I really don't understands people's fear of it. They have a good system of scoring their sellers/buyers.

Simply don't buy from people with little or no feedback.. and don't buy from people with negative feedback..Read the comments people post about others.

If someone has a few hundred Ebay transactions, and large majority of positive feedback.. you're good to go.

Never once had a problem with Ebay and I've bought many a console from it.

Also, dont' bid on things that don't have multiple pictures.

I've spent over $500 dollars on ebay and sold over $800 dollars of stuff in the past year, but bigger purchases like Consoles I would rather do with a company with insurance

This is the bundle i chose. You get the 120 gig console, blu-ray remote, 2 $50+ duelshock 3 wireless controllers, and your chioce one 1 of the games listed.

http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5303672

They have 2 other bundles as well, but they aren't as good IMO.

It depends on what kind of picture quality you want to play your games and movies with the Playstation 3 console: standard definition or high definition. Every console comes standard with an AV cable. In other words, you do not have to purchase anything extra to play games or movies in standard definition. If that is your choice, the answer would be no.

If you wish to view your games or movies in high definition, but already own HDMI cable or AV component cables made specifically for the PS3 console, the answer would be no. In that case, you would already possess the cable necessary.

If you do not own either of those, but still wish to watch your games or movies in high definition, the answer would be yes. However, the next question would be, "How much to you wish to spend?" since you do not have to shell out 19 bucks for high definition cable.

Walmart's (online) prices start as low as $9.88 for 3-feet long HDMI cable. If 3-feet isn't long enough to connect your PS3 with your television, they have 6-feet long HDMI cable for $11.99. Here's a link to their HDMI cable options:

http://www.walmart.com/search/searc...=hdmi+cable&search_constraint=0&search_sort=4

Disregard the DVI, converter, etc., options included in the list.

Walmart's (online) prices for AV component cables for the PS3 console start as low as $13.96 for 6-feet length. Here's a link to that particular option:

http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=10964888

--and here's the link to all AV component cable options at Walmart.com:

http://www.walmart.com/search/searc...onent+video&search_constraint=0&search_sort=4

CAUTION! While browsing for component cables, make certain that you review those which are made for the PS3 console only!

I hope this all helps.

I found the difference in the HDMI/Component cables picture wise to be very marginal fwiw.

Agreed. My home theater system uses both HDMI and component video cables. The difference is not as great as some would make it.
