Play him for the first series and then let it go.

No need to subject Romo to ANY chance of injury during a meaningless game.

You know that the Commanders are desperate to win.
To win they have to knock Romo out of the game.
The threat of fines or suspensions won't faze them.
They will come all out to hurt Romo. That he would have 2 eeks to heal is walking on the wild side.

This, again, is a meaningless game.
You know what Romo can do. To have him exposed to hits would be tempting fate.

Rest Romo up and let's live to play another day.
Merry Christmas to all and Happy Festivus for the rest of you. And deliver us from freedom, amen.

I want Romo to play one half. At least keep him in SOME rhythm and let him develop a little bit of game time rapport with Glenn. Once halftime rolls around, I want ALL starters yanked.

With all due respect, he doesn't need rhythm. After Sunday he'll have two weeks to lose that rhythm. Let him develop whatever rapport he needs with old man Glenn in practice, away from flying bodies and late hits by the Skins.
We agree about the second half. I want all starters out of der.:)

No way...the last thing we need is him to get injured. He needs to sit in this game because the intensity at fedex is going to be off the charts this weekend!

Ok, I backed you in a previous post, but with that post there, it is dripping with something a Skins fan would post.

Not saying you are or aren't but dude..

We have clinched everything and this game means nothing...on the flip side Washington is playing at home and it's a miracle they are even in contention going into the final week of the season.

I'm pretty sure our fans and team would be jacked up beyond belief if we were facing similar circumstances because if not that would be pretty sad.

Romo needs to get comfortable with Glenn and the lesser used recievers(Hurd, Austin and maybe Stanback) in game rhythm. Practice is practice, nothing more. We cant be having Glenn getting settled in a divisional game that we need to win and have him and Romo not on the same page when you got DB's pushing TG off his route. It would be foolish to have Glenn in for more than a few drives in rotation against Washington, but even more foolish to not have him getting some significant snaps at all.

It seems to me alot of you are ignorant that regardless of his healing history, there's no guarantee Owens will be back for the divisional game and we need to get as much game experience for our bench receivers as possible, cause the way Carolina played us after Owens got taken out of the game was with lack of respect and we got forced into alot of 3rd downs and FG's. We cant be doing that against a playoff team.

Better he should not even suit up than play one series...there is absolutely no value in going out for what could be 3 plays. He should either sit it out or play at least a quarter with Glenn.

If we're not sitting any of the OL, and if we want Witten to get his catches, then we might as well play Romo for a few series or even the half and come out in the 2nd half with the other backups.

Exactly, it's crazy to just let him play one series and what's that serve, absolutely nothing.

Sorry but the Skins' would not risk late hits, they would be handed suspensions if its that obvious, and they don't need to lose any more players the way it is.
