I don't get it honestly. It seems like every year we have games where we win convincingly (2005 was against the Boys) and games where we lose horribly (2005 was against the Giants). And it seems like most teams are the same, one or two games they play way above their talent level and one or two where they play way worse. I don't see why this year should be any different. We played better than we are against the Lions and worse against the Pats. Otherwise, we had a bunch of close ones that we won more than we lost.
There are things I dislike, and I think it is time for Gibbs to move on but we still have a good chance on any given week for the remaining schedule to pull out a W. Meanwhile, Detriot has Green Bay twice and the Giants once. The Giants have a pretty rough schedule as well. The wildcard is still possible, and once in the playoffs, anything can happen. Did anyone expect the 6th seeded Steelers to win it all in 05? Cheer up dude, playoffs are a good possibility.
