granted I only saw the replay so some context may be missing but........after the whistle Green goes all street fight, throwing punches, etc. - this is akin to assault. Obviously I'm not leaping that he should be charged with any crime here but if these actions, all caught on live tv/video, etc., do not warrant any suspensions by the NFL.......how in the hell can they justify other violence related suspensions with nothing in the way credible proof?

It seems they're making Ramsey equally culpable, for using mean words. Green lost his mind and absolutely should be suspended. Ramsey didn't even deserve to be ejected.

The only possible explanation is that Green was given a pass given his clean previous history.

That said, this is a thread better suited for NFL Zone, not Fan Zone.

But they did see fit to suspend Mike Evans. I'd be pretty miffed if I was a Buc fan.

It wouldn't drive up ratings for the NFL if they were to suspend Green (or Jarvis Landry, for that matter), so of course they're not going to take further action here

I'm blown away that Jameis Winston wasn't suspended for his instigation of the entire sequence of events in the Evans / Lattimore fight. I would have snapped Winston's finger off his hand if he had started doing that to me.

I think Evans was suspended because he wasn't ejected and Green wasn't suspended because he was ejected.
Begs the question of why Evans wasn't ejected in the first place? It just seems of a case of the rules being applied differently for similar offenses.

Those punches to the helmet were pretty dangerous, he could have killed Ramsey...

10-4.......if you're wearing equipment, the NFL's family friendly product condones bush league violence after the whistle.
If youre that concerned with violence in football, go watch Days of our Lives instead
