for all that is still good left in the world...

his presence was missed so badly today it was shocking.

not only because of his obvious playmaking ability.... but i feel his infectious personality was missed.

the defense was just going through the motions so to speak.

the very first run that stacy carried went straight up the middle for 12 yards..

i guarantee that run would not have gone for half of that had 55 been out there.

get well brah...we missed ya today.

.... and that's a sad commentary. Especially the part about the defense appearing to just be going through the motion. Shout out to BCarr for an excellent game. Now do it again.

Carr wasn't perfect- A receiver, or two had a chance, but missed on the catch, but he still was right there every time.

Better than Mo who was 15 yards away from some guys- including the last TD catch.
And he goes motioning to every other player on the field that it was their fault...

Even if it was- you'd like him to have some situational awareness for a 6th pick to see there was NOBODY but him near the left end of the field for that last TD and a few other plays.

I really am not a Clai basher. I support him fully, but the game to game trends have become pretty much what he is.

He can certainly be better, but he's not- for whatever reason.

Sorry- I digress.

McClain was missed, but our team won and he got to rest and hopefully he can get out there and kill some Saints!

That's right, NFL. Once 55 gets back, good luck getting 6 yards a carry against us. It's not happening.

You're such an astute poster and yet you can be such a snore-fest.

You're just like Doug Free, really.

Well I'd like you to show me where he can be better.... and I'm not talking about college. I ain't seen it yet, And I'm sick and tire of his mess.

When it was a 21-17 ballgame, don't forget Anthony Hitchens stuffed Stacy for a one yard loss on 4th and 1 on the Dallas 15. A forgotten play that had a huge impact on the outcome.

scandrick had an assist there as well...huge play in the game.

....and another thing about these DB's, they must not have any confidence in their abilities. That's why they play 10 yards off the receivers. I'm looking at Seattle and AZ ... their DB's are all over every pass and don't interfere either.

Good point, but Claiborne sure picked the perfect time to stick close to his man and attack the ball.

Carr or Claiborne?
I talked about both.

You want plays? I don't have access to that yet, but I'm sure you watched the same game I did and I've read you bragging about your football knowledge so I'm hoping you saw what I saw...
It wasn't hard to notice- especially when I looked at replays that were shown.

But if not- I will happily oblige when I can and if I can't- I will concede what I said is a falsehood.
I'm not so proud to say I'm not ever wrong...

I believe they are only obeying what play is being called by their DC, as far as how they play up or off, but maybe they can do whatever they want and I don't know about such things.
I only played basketball...
