I respect Jerry...and flow with the success of the Cowboys. I am a fan of the team...do I also understand football? Sure do. and at more a few decades as well. I started out in football back in 1958.

No matter what else is involved and play design or player talents. Within 3 yards of the line of scrimmage, all players can engage helmet to helmet and alter completely the 2.5 period for offensive success. If the front is also dominant things get a lot tougher for any quality of opponent. Play games from there, then a lot more mental is involved. Is the NFL strictly for show and not for enjoyment of competition...no.
