So, if they bring in Miller, three, if not all four in that bubble group are likely gone.

I should clarify, I'm talking about for during training camp. I'd imagine they'd need to cut someone in order to bring someone in. I'd imagine Williams would be gone if we got Miller for the 53, I'm just talking about for the remainder of the preseason roster.

Von Miller for what? League minimum? Might as well sign Charles Haley. Let our young guys play. Put that fossil out to pasture. If we're talking about signing Von for 7 digits, ok maybe. But 8 digits? Not a chance. This isn't 2015.

For a one year low amount, I don't see why not. I know it's not 2015, but it's still worth kicking the tires. And I'm saying that bringing him in now makes sense so that we can see what he's still got before we have to go to the 53. If he looks good still, great. If not, then he doesn't make the 53. Plus, he'd be invaluable for the younger players to have someone like him to learn from. Especially since he knows Parker's system.

• If signed BEFORE Week 1: If a vested veteran is on a team’s active 53-man roster for the first game of the regular season, their entire base salary for that year becomes 100% fully guaranteed via the CBA's "Termination Pay" provision. Even if the team cuts them after Week 2 or Week 3 because they look washed up or no longer fit the scheme, the team must pay them their full salary for all 18 weeks.
• If signed AFTER Week 1: If a team waits until Week 1 has passed (typically signing the player on the Tuesday after the first game), that full-season guarantee disappears. The player's salary becomes week-to-week. If the team needs to release them later in the season, they only owe them for the weeks they were actually on the roster.

2. Protecting Salary Cap Flexibility​

By delaying the signing by just a few days, the front office mitigates financial and salary-cap risk. If an aging player suffers a career-ending injury or simply gets outperformed by a younger player in Week 4, cutting a post-Week 1 signee incurs zero "dead cap" money for the remainder of the year.

If the Cowboys wanted him they could have signed him anytime in the last few months.

Ah, that makes sense. Maybe they have a deal in place for that reason, but they're not announcing it yet.

Im no computer guy, but I set up an entire home network this week so I could cancel my cable. I have access to 500gb of my music, set up a rooftop antenna, set up a plex server. I canceled my cable saving 118 dollars a month. I then set up the pc running the server.... all of it was done with the help of Gemini. Put the app on your phone. You dont even have to type. Talk into it and ask a question. It will answer and you can elaborate. You can literally have a conversation with it. It is extremely helpful. People that refuse to use it better come into the 21st century. Well.... you dont have to, but then you will sit and wonder why Von Miller hasnt signed.....lol

I don't care if he wants to play on the cheap and give good advice. Other than that, I expect nothing from him. That would be a Jerry hire. Miller instead of Crosby. Someone that could actually make a difference.
