What was your first reaction when you thought Brad Johnson was going to play against the Vikes?

I thought that the Vikings would be asking "how did we let Brad get away? this Jackson guy sucks."

That he could handle the job. Granted I was hoping that Romo was going to be alright but I have confidence that if Johnson had to enter a game that he can do the job.

I thought "How sad for Minny that the QB they dropped is about to beat them"

First reaction was worry. Then I remembered that Johnson is a pretty competent QB. As a back-up in a limited role, I'm not really that worried about him.

I didn't even care about this game, figuring that we could just run the ball down their throats. I was more worried that there was a serious injury to Romo and didn't breath again until I saw him walking normal.

I thought that old man Johnson was going to drop back, scramble (because the offensive line hadn't been protecting very well) and that he would gain more yards than Julius Jones had all game. My second thought was how much it would suck if that had actually happened.

Heaven help me.

I was at the game, so I didn't know that this was a possibility.

But it isn't as if we were throwing long balls anyway, we won on the running game and short passes, which Johnson excels at throwing.

As long as I knew Romo wasn't badly hurt and with bye week coming up, I would be fine. Johnson could throw those dinks rest of the way. But thought of him trying to run our vertical passing game (really no that anymore w/o a speedster WR to keep defenses honest) wasn't a pleasant thought. In other words, there's a reason Johnson is the backup and Romo is our starter -- it's called talent and it's God given.

When Tony was limping and holding his hammy my heart dropped into my stomach and I about puked. Then I leaned over to my brother and said "this guy has a rag arm I hope he doesn't have to play".

For me, I was thinking that...good! We have a vet QB that can fill in for the rest of the game...

There are other teams out there that don't have that vet backup...;)

I would, but I would probably get banned for it.

That the backs were gonna get a LOT more passes.;)
