Why do some have to rain in the parade?

No one has us going undefeated or going to the SB, but can't we just enjoy the ride we're on.

Gee, I check the beginning of all our game threads which are covered here on the forum and every time there's a mistake made by one of the guys early in the game, some say we're losin this one , or lets trade him or boy we suck.
Man it's only the first quarter and we have to read that crap.

I can't believe some of the stuff I've been reading during this streak.

Most of the negativism comes from trolls. This board is awfully good at feeding them.

Maybe some people are afraid to hope.
Despite 'who the Cowboys have played' rationale, remember it was the pathetic Lions that trounced our team last year.

This years team is convincing, and doing all the right things. It's not because the Rams suck that Romo can move like he does. It's not because the Rams suck that Owens can sprint forward to block for Crayton. It's not because the Rams suck that Romo can take a 25 yard loss on 3rd down and make a first down. It's because the team is legit and so are our coaches.

I don't worry much about who the team has played. The contrast between this years team and last years is obvious. Last years team would have lost that Giants game. We'd probably be looking at 2-2. Good teams win.

we're 4-0 and have pretty much manhandled all 4 teams...now we havent dominated for 60 minutes and in each game there have been times of concern, but I dont see how anyone should be downplaying what we've done...after all it was only 9-10 months ago that we were getting blown out at home (twice, by New Orleans & Philly) and losing to a lowly Detroit team (at home)

we're a good team...maybe we arnt the elite team right now, but we are clearly one of the top teams in the league...once everyone gets healthy we could have something pretty special

Well I can understand why some people are negative. But the fact is that any team can lose any game, so if you're worrying about loses, you'll ALWAYS worry.

Right on David.

Look, there is room for improvement from this team. They know it. We know it. We did better on penalties today but we are still the most penalized in the NFL. We still have some injuries to overcome. We still need more guys to pressure the QB.

But, I think it is beyond stupid to think this team is getting lucky or playing nobodies. This team is steamrolling teams and demoralizing them.

You never know whats going to happen...If you told me in this week the Bears would lose to Detroit, the Chargers would lose to Kansas City, Oakland will beat Miami, Cleveland will beat Baltimore, and Arizona will beat the Steelers. I'd tell you you are crazy. But guess what, that happened. This is football. And all of a sudden those 5 media hyped up teams suddenly became "inconsequential"?

Thats not how football works, you have to play 110% every down, every week, every game. We are playing that way, and improving ourself every week. 4-0 is no easy matter as a small percentage of teams have ever gotten there.
