Go with what your scouts are telling you. If the players you want most likely will be available later, no need to take someone just to take someone.

The late 2nd, 3rd and 4th round players may have graded out the same.

Remember Choice and Scandrick were drafted on day 2 last year.

No you two are a joke. It's obvious they didnt like who was their at 51. There's plenty of value in the 3rd, 4th, 5th rounds. You guys are typical fans, and only know the big names. we have dafted well in the middle rounds (ala: Bradie James, Chris Canty, Tashard Choice, Orlando Scandrick)

ninja has a point....to a degree. I mean, we have drafted well on day two the last couple years,but to me we aren't exactly N.England or Pitt in our talent evaluation....and even they make picks on the first day..the chances are remote at best we get fortunate with another pick like Scandrick....time will tell, and I'll reserve official judgement for now, but make no mistake this probably won't turn out well.

Kevin Burnett, Julius Jones, Jacob Rogers, Al Johnson, Antonio Bryant, Quincy Carter, Tony Dixon?

We've drafted two players in the 2nd round in the past 12 drafts that are still on the team. Oddly enough, we've been much more successful in the 3rd and 4th rounds.

"Please tell me we will compile some picks?" JJ has shown, the last few drafts, that we have a great scouting dept and we do our homework. We're going to get great value tomorrow, and we'll draft the players that will makeup the core of our team. How many recent 4th rounders have we hit on recently? Scandrick, Choice, Barber, and Canty to name a few. I'll give JJ the benefit of the doubt...until tomorrow.
