Would anyone care to guess what the point spread would be with Romo behind center? My bet is it would be a pick-em. Which tells you all you need to know about leaving Bledsoe as the starter.

Does anyone know what the point spread would be if the Boys played with Ben Gay on their jocks?

Point Spread w/ Romo? Pointless thread, IMHO.

In this upcoming game? I would think it would still favor Dallas by at least 3 points.

What your saying is you have no idea what the point spread with Romo behind center this week and that tells us all we need to know. Thanks for the insight.

This thread tell me all I need to know about the one who started it.

Thing is they guys in vegas would be under the same mindset of not knowing but would still post a point spread. I think we would still be favored but I also think because of the unknown the spread would not be as big with Romo playing this week as it is with Bledsoe playing

Does anyone in this world actually know what a point spread is?

It has nothing to do with who's going to win, or by how much. It has to do with where the money is going. So, of course, the spread would shrink significantly because individuals would start grabbing the Texans plus the points like crazy.

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills, here.

Correct however the line gets set by odd makers and the odds will change through out the week as gamblers place their bet

That's what I said, lol. The line's enormous. Of course, if people see Romo in, they're going to start taking the Texans, which is going to drive the line back closer to even.

Assumption
  1. The primary error in analyzing information.
  2. A faux pas in critical thinking.
  3. A last resort if actual facts cannot be obtained.
  4. The first step in the path to becoming a nimrod.

Please do not assume as it's the initial failure in most mistakes. btw, betting on something is assuming you actually know the outcome.

Drew Bledsoe, Julius Jones, DeMarcus Ware, Roy Williams, Terry Glenn, and Jason Witten could all perish in a fiery, 6 car crash... and the line wouldn't move by 13 points.

being as the point spread has nothing to do with the game but where the money is bet i would say it would not likly change at all.
