Here is a naval analogy. This team wanders aimlessly and effortlessly across the NFL seas. The ship has no rudder. It has been that way for 30 years and there is no promised land in sight. Getting better sailors won't get the ship under control. The captain of the ship has no REAL authority so the sailors are content with getting paid well for meandering aimlessly.
Will the new sailors change the whole crew's attitude, or will they simply become another ho-hum member of the ship's company?
I am predicting mediocrity from all concerned.
