I have it it is in area around my belly button Lots of small itchy bumps DR says since I had chicken pox I should be ok I do not feel bad but this crap is itchy Got it from one of my grand daughters giving me a hug

It's called "MPox" now.

Not sure why it was renamed, but now all I hear is, "Mmmmmm .. pox" which is not good.

My understanding is that they considered Monkey Pox somehow politically incorrect, or something ridiculous like that.

Over a year ago in the beginning, it was strongly known to have been an STD spread by gay sex. Although other methods of spread were known too.

Honestly, I haven’t paid much attention to it recently. Must be even more free ranging these days.

My wife has it now but on her back lots more bumps than I have Area on my belly is about soccer ball sized she has bumps from the shoulders to her butt

@Cowpolk (first time I realized you got rid of the gp part) said the doc told him since he already had chicken pox he should be okay. I don't know if that means they're related or not. I just got my shingles vaccine, so maybe that'll help?
