during practice at one point Tony ran into the tunnel, i noticed it and then went to watching other stuff, i glimpsed this sight out of the corner of my eye at first and nearly had a heart attack before my brain told me its not him, just a guy in a jersey. i had to take this pic and share the story.

enjoy the pics and go ahead laugh at my fear...i did as soon as i realized all was OK

Before practice got started Bennett came out and Garrett immediately tracked him down and started talking to him, this went on for several minutes as guys were getting into place. Garrett did not appear to be chewing him out or anything just talking or coaching.
Bennett did not seem to really be into the talk as he kept moving, kind of like you do when a gnat or bug is flying around you, if you believe in body language Bennett was giving Garrett an earful !
The talk went so long that the team was getting into what looked like field-goal or extra point formation and the special team coach was looking for Bennett, Bennett got away from Garrett and then it looked to me like the special teams coach was fussing at Bennett for not being where he was supposed to be.
This is not meant to be a Bennett bash or to proclaim his "bustness", just an observation that the coaches really seem to be all over him.
Watching him run his routes he seemed to be giving it his best but to my eye during the special teams part he didnt seem to be too enthused.

practice as you have read was loud, lot of distractions with the rain, Rowdy,
2 fans who ran on the field, Wade gave an interview before it started, TO was
throwing t-shirts to the crowd, Romo and TO each got interviewed on the sidelines which was broadcast to the Stadium, the music was VERY loud and the stadium speakers suuuuckkk.
they did spend a fair amount of time working on kick coverage, kick return but to be honest I couldn't tell if we looked good or bad since there was no hitting.
Bartel is an interception machine, Johnson was Johnson..he hits his throws and i know he aint going deep but he does what he does pretty steady.
Felix Jones looks good running in person, cant wait till Friday to see him again.
Choice looks good also.
Rodney Hannah is huge looking but didnt see him do too much in practice.
Jason Witten drew huge applause from the crowd when the TE's were in their group catching short passes then running thru a teenager holding a blocking pad, Wittens forearm/ glancing blow sent the young man to the turf and the people watching let loose a bigggg cheer.
THE strangest part of the day for me was when Jerry Jones left the field and walked up the aisle through the fans....people were climbing over seats, holding up cameras, holding out stuff for autographs....you would have thought he was.......Jessica Simpson !!! He has come a long way since being one of the most hated men in Cowboys history.
anyway it was fun, worth the effort and good to see the Boys.
