Police dash cam shows meteor striking Canada

wow thats crazy.

...the day the meteor came down I was taking my daughter out to the truck from her figure skating lessons and the sky lit up to the west of us.

We live about 2 hrs east of the landing area of the meteor. My wife's family is from the Unity area which is about 20 minutes from where they are now searching for the meteor.

They could hear the loud high pitch whistling of the meteor coming down. Right now there's some guy from Arizona offering 10 grand for anyone who can find a baseball sized chunk of this meteor.

It was visible to the east of us and lit up the sky for a short bit. It's unlikely that any real manageable sized fragment survived. The rock in question was likely the size of a grapefruit before it broke up. Any piece now is probably the size of a peanut. But hey, who knows, maybe "they walk among us" now.
