Sorry to beat a dead horse but;
Who do you think bears the most responsibility for our failures.

1) J.J.
2) Coaching staff
3) Players

I know all of them bear some blame ,but if you could pin point one.

If this was just a single season or a couple then I would fault the players or coaches but since it has been this way for 16 seasons the guy at the top must bear the brunt of the blame. Jerry needs to go away!

J.J.

Ultimately, he's responsible for who's on the roster.

I'm so torn between Jerry and the players, but I'll go with Jerry since it's his responsibility to equip this team with a capable secondary and line. He hasn't appropriately addressed the secondary in close to a decade and decided to gamble and go into the season with a wet tissue for a line.

This is so hard to determine. We needed to make some major moves in FA'gency but we didn't do squat.. so I put that on the coaches/Jerry. Our lack of execution solely comes down to the players we have. We have some guys that should have been cut 2 or 3 years ago but we rolled the dice again with them.

i got to say JJ, he's the one handing out huge deals for mediocrity and going cheap at key positions

Jerry without a doubt.

He kept the roster status quo and hired a guy to be head coach who isn't ready to do the job.

Total blame belongs to our HC/GM Jerry Jones without question

The more things change, the more things stay the same, and the one constant is Jerry Jones, he needs to step down, it's all his fault....If Jerry was a GM of any other NFL club, is there any doubt he would of been fired a long time ago...

Jerry Jones and it is completely fair for all fingers to point his way. Coaches and players have come and gone, but Jerry has been the one constant in the fifteen year Superbowl drought. Oh how I rue the day he let Dan Reeves get away over that stupid clock punching clause (yes, rue).

Since Jerry Jones wants all the credit.......

Exactly. Jerry Jones the owner would've fired Jerry Jones the GM a long time ago had he been a separate person. The fact that he continues to think he can do both does more to undermine the team's ability to understand and respect a hierarchy of authority within the organization than anything else. Jerry as owner dictates that he is the ONLY one where the buck stops, which hurts the authority of those under him, including and most importantly his head coach.

Jason garrett, his "process" has been an abject failure,he will be gone after next season if we dont improve.

Players are most directly responsible for the loss.

Coaches are most directly responsible for preparation of the players.

Jones is responsible for the coaches and the players.

There needs to be an all of the above option...

I've never said this before, but as of now it has to be Jerry Jones.

The players are who they are...a large portion of which being only average at best. It's not their fault. They shouldn't even be on our field, but they are. I think Garrett is doing the best he can with what he has, but look at what he has. In hindsight, 8-8 is probably pretty good with this group, many of whom shouldn't even be playing in the NFL right now.

I think what desperately needs to happen is to not be afraid to cut loose of average players. Yes, I know you can't have great players at every position, but this team cannot keep rewarding average to below average players with 5 year contracts. Someone has to make the players prove their worth, and right now, that's not happening. Jerry is settling. He's settling for what he has because he's afraid that the replacement will be worse. For some guys on the roster, that's probably correct, but for probably the majority of the players, I don't think it is.

Expect more. And if the player doesn't deliver, don't be afraid to look elsewhere. I'm not sure Jerry is capable of that...

And the scouting department and the coaches and socks and jocks.......

Players. Jason Garrett can only do so much. The defense is horrible and the main reason for the loss IMO.

Jerry Jones, he is the one who assembled the players and they are CLEARLY not that good.

In my opinion outside of a QB there are 2 main ingredients to most good teams, a pass rush and an offensive line and Jerry has failed in both areas for the better part of 12 years.
