That's insane. But even if teams scheme to take them away our staff has to account for that, they must have an effective backup plan if we are to succeed. Against the 49ers we were beaten on the sideline and on the field. This coaching staff also has something to prove.
Exactly. If defenses can scheme them out why can't we scheme them back in? I get frustrated when everyone else's adjustments outsmart our coaches.

Here is where if CeeDee considers himself #1 receiver he should be able to rise to the occasion....dammmm any double coverage. His problem is his route running that doesn't get him space. Pollard will be used more for sure based on how he is being used this season... KM needs to have a great game plan. IOW, get his head out of his arse....

If Wilson would have just thrown a good lateral on that one play early in the game, the outcome might have been different. I'm not sure the 49ers would have been able to prevent Pollard from scoring on that play when we were looking for something to get our offense going.

The worst part about this is Pollard had a good game against the 49ers the year before with Andy Dalton as the QB. Zeke was out and he started the game and even had a 40yard TD run.

What's the excuse? They missed the play and they lost. There were other plays they could have made on offense and defense, but they didn't and they lost. They have to do better.

However, if we're making a thread about them only having 8 combined touches against San Francisco, I think it's fair to point out a big opportunity for one that the players blew in that game.

teams tried to scheme out the triplets too. Go with your best and impose your will because the 2nd tier players rarely determine the outcome of playoff games.
I wish Kellen Moore would use our big time weapons more. No way Noah Brown should get more looks than Ceedee or even Pollard. But with how bad our wr's not named Ceedee has been teams will bracket cover lamb and just wait for a pass to bounce off Gallup, Schultz or Browns hands for another pick.

That has to be tripled to have any chance on offense.
They'll toss it to take what the defense gives ya Schultz"kowski about a dozen times and run Zeke and target Lamb for his 2nd playoff reception of his career.

It sure would be nice to have a wr like Cooper right now instead of James Washington he he he

We need a guy like Amari Beckham Jr to save our season

20 million is too much to pay??

I hope Schultz and Zeke can win one for the Gipper lol

We're back to playing Witten ball which has netted us 1 playoff TD (per career) in 8 playoff games 57 receptions

The beauty is its the same game plan as last year. Ha ha ha

Here comes the rookie tes and Schultz to save the Day Again using the spread 12 personnel formation!! Ha ha ha

Y'all know it too!! Lol

This is what I have always hated about the Jason Garrett mantra which Moore clearly still embraces. We are still allowing "formulas" to dictate our plays. "See defense X run offense Y." It's maddening! This offense simply has to stop letting the defense call our plays for us by simply lining up a certain way. Until that ceases this team will never get where it wants to go. It had a chance for that two year window when Romo was basically calling the plays himself.. but his body gave out on him before he could fully capitalize on that.
Players are interchangeable meat widgets in the machines of Boy Genius Offensive Coordinators.

For the Cowboys offense to go off they'll need CeeDee n Pollard to be heavy contributors. Get your playmakers the ball, stop with all this targeting n forcing the ball to the Ohio St. guys.
