At 3.6 YPC. Of course, it's just two games, and he did average 5.0 against the Giants, so it could primarily be a product of playing the Jets' D. Might be tough averaging 5.2 again as the lead pony, though.

Yep. The Jets were one of the top five running defenses in the N.F.L. last year. Yet the Cowboys dominated time of possession which is the hallmark of an effective running game.

I think it's the former. 5.2 is a ridiculous number though. I'd still wager he finishes the season around 5.

The issue wasn’t that Zeke showed 3.5 YPC after 2 games, it was that he showed 3.5 YPC after 15 with a rapid decline after the first month.

I am quickly souring on the rushing attack of the vaunted and most valuable of a team's O attack.
I guess I want to live in a Sid Gillman/Air Coryell world.

Now that he's taking the carries on those third and short and goalline that avg is going to drop.
