Man the last 2 weeks watching Lawrence.. Don’t be so sure he’s gone. That dude is playing good football and he’s just warming up.

Acting like Lawrence isn’t a good football player is just foolish.

He’s finally not our best guy on defense but he’s still playing at that same level as he was and he’s way better as a after thought than the guy being double and tripled.

He is an excellent player and always was.

People want him to be Charles Haley (including Jerry) and he isnt that.

Problem is he is getting into those back end fluff years of his contract and his cap number is too high to tolerate.

Hopefully they work something out.

Could just be somewhat sore after playing a lot of snaps. And not have played basically all year.

Take shot, wrap it up, put him out there.

There's no concern with Lawrence guys. Relax. I'm more worried about Pollard. I haven't seen a player return from his type of injury in only two weeks ever.

Amari Cooper played most of the 2019 season with it.. It can be done.. Not easy.. but possible.

Every player is better when not being double and triple teamed. Lawrence has always been good but has had a bumpy road with injuries throughout his career.. The Cowboys need to figure out a way to keep him, Gregory and Parsons on the field. That trio will terrorize QBs for the next 5 years..

I think that is wishful thinking. He is more likely to be out for the season.

Dallas need bookend of D-Law and Gregory with Micah free-roaming. Did you watch a different game than I did Sunday. The D was the best in the NFL, Why mess that up. C'mon man.

He gets after it from the snap to the whistle. Put some respect on that man's name.

Lawrence has played a lot of snaps since being out 3 months with foot surgery. He did get the injury in practice back in September. I wouldn't let him practice again this year.

I personally think it's just continued caution and rehab as he is getting back up to speed from the surgery

I don’t want to turn this into a hate Dak thread but Jerry had a chance to get the Cowboys pay roll back under control. Jerry offered Dak a deal that would have paid him 37 million annually. The front office should not have caved. That was a fair deal. When you count the benefits to being a Cowboys quarterback, Dak would have signed it eventually. There is a reason why Russ had the Cowboys on his trade list and it’s not to be coached by Kellen Moore.

The only thing to respect about Tank is his ability to go cash Jerry’s checks. That’s all.

Lawrence's cap hits are 27 and 29 million for the next two seasons.

Something needs to be done with that.

If not, don't see how we are keeping Kearse, Gregory, any of the WR, etc.

Unless you want to move on from Cooper.

Point being....Lawrence is a nice player and I'd prefer to keep him, but those numbers arent palatable.

If he wants to stay here they need to work something out.
