A RD2 comp pick in 2024.

I know what he did this yr was great, but unless he has Adrian Petersons DNA he's not going to be the same next yr. For me what makes this a easier want than most is Robinson and Gibbs. You get any of these 2 and you filled that hole, and you get 4 yrs on the rookie deal, and the 5th yr option. Then you can repeat if the production doesn't justify.

NO........ No no no no no no no no.

That would imply drafting a back in the 1st round which is the ultimate waste of draft capital.

Look at the Chiefs after they won the super bowl they went out and drafted a very average running back with the 32 overall pick when multiple pro bowlers at other (much more valuable) positions were on the table.

I doubt we'd get a 2 maybe a 3 or 4. We only got a 4th when we let Murray go and he was way better than Pollard.

Wrong

These are the type of rbs the whole nfl is looking for. McCaffrey and etiene are changing the way they're looking at rbs now

Im not down with keeping zeke and losing pollard but Ill cheer for whomever on sunday. I know nothing about tha kid in texas But is he that much better than getting someone else later in draft? We need a DT,CB and LB probably need a QB in there as well

The problem with letting Pollard go is that would probably mean Zeke staying would be a lock and he would enter the season as our number 1 back.

Yes, Robinson and Gibbs are head and shoulders above everybody else. Either one is going to open up a iffense

The highest comp picks are at the end of Round 3. Round 2 comp picks don't exist. He may net a 5th round comp pick.

We are projected to get a 5th round comp pick for Randy Gregory and Connor Williams for 2023 and a 6th round pick for Cedric Wilson.

Doubt it. Elliot is stay no matter what. But we saw in the playoffs they started to play pollard more and it was pollard in on big downs not Elliot. So they know he's not even close to y he same. But he has power and will get you the tds. He's always been entitled, but him actually willing to take a paycut Is basically him knowing the writing is on the wall

What draft choice besides the Texas back would start over Zeke next season. I mean who would the team trust to give the ball to over Zeke?

The Cowboys need to break away from their fear of moving on from talent. It has been an achilles' heel since the advent of the salary cap. Pollard is a great talent, but the Cowboys can't get caught paying a RB again. They were smart when the let Murray go (after an in the MVP conversation year) and they need to be smart in 2023 and let Pollard and Zeke go. I like Davis and I would not be upset if they drafted Longhorns RB Robinson if he is the significant best available at the time and they had moved on from both Zeke and Pollard.

The Cowboys know the stats on offense. They need to run the ball successfully to have the best chance at winning. Keep the RB room stout with younger, cheaper players.

Larry Allen was a round 2 compensatory pick
