Of course it's unfortunate that he got injured, but I think it will affect his market value now that he won't be under contract with the Cowboys in the Fall of 2023. He's never really missed much time in the past but this Injury will take some time to heal and teams may have some doubts about him being ready for Training Camp. Again, I don't mean to shed light on a player suffering an injury but this could be fate.

Best wishes for Tony and his recovery.

The injury is going to reduce his stock big time in free agency, It’s definitely going to cost him a lot of money. A fractured fibula could cost him speed and quickness.

I think he could be sign for 2 yrs. He is not going to be the same next yr. So I'm sure he would take something to give him time.

Best thing you can do if you want to get paid by Jerry is end your season with an injury. He won't be able to resist breaking the bank for you.

Has anything come out other than it being his Tibia? If not I don't see it being a huge factor in his market. Bone injuries heal with a high probability of full recovery. I don't see an issue unless we see complications from his surgery or additional damage to the tissue around the break.

I would think more now than ever we see Pollard get hit with the tag.

Agree 100 percent. If anything the injury may turn teams away from trying to sign him to an offer sheet assuming the Cowboys do tag him.

It's a fracture .. not an achilles tendon tear or ACL tear.

Post surgery he'll already be on healing course in 2-3 months.

Fibula break has no bearing on his near future contract. (franchise tag i predict)

Does anyone know if this type of injury can linger for a RB? I've heard that a full break heals better than a fracture. Not sure if it's true, but I've heard it.

Yes, the cowboys kept the wrong receiver, gallup has done nothing all year. Cooper has a 1160 yards 78 receptions and 9 touchdowns. This might have may a difference this year
I agreed with keeping Gallup over Cooper. Boy was I wrong. Hopefully Gallup can bounce back because that contract looks as bad as Dak and Zeke now.

He should be ok too. Same injury that Demarco Murray had against the Giants and he came back the next season just fine.

He broke his leg. I think that's better than a shredded ankle or knee. But he's gonna need serious rehab. The question is would this scare away other potential suitors and thus lower his value.......or would Jerry care and just reward him like he did Gallup? Bidding against ourselves.
