I know....but you really think that Ponder will put up 300 yards and 3 TDs against us? He will be lucky to get half of that. Outside of Barkley, Ponder will be the worst QB we have faced all year.

I think he sure as heck could. In fact, I would be surprised (pleasantly) if he he threw for less than 300 yards. TDs are a different story.

Need to get off to a quick start to take AP away from the equation and put the game in Ponder's hands.

They'll give AP the ball unless they are down 14+ and even then they may still do it. Hatcher, Selvie and Ware are the only DL doing well with the run esp Hatcher who is All Pro level. The rest of the guys are ok to not ok.

I cant believe this is necessary but look at the numbers of the QBs that we have faced this yr.

Now tell me, you really think a QB like Ponder will put up 300 Yards and 3 TDs against us? Will Ponder do what RG3, Bradford, Alex Smith (who are all much more accomplished QBs) couldn't do. If you do, then there should be no reason you wouldn't start him in your fantasy league.

I realize we have the worst passing defense in the league, and that's awful. But c'mon...Ponder??! Seriously? The same QB that was benched for Matt Cassel. The same QB that the Vikings had no faith in that they spent $2 million on a QB that was cut 2 weeks earlier. The only thing that's good about Ponder is his wife and thats debatable. Expect a Nick Foles type game from him.

ponder's shoulder been shot since his last year at fsu.
how he was a 1st rounder is beyond me. Vikings QB play, whomever it is, leaves a lot to be desired.

This should be an easy win at home. It would be great if we could develop some better screen plays and blitz defeats in a low pressure game like this. Might also be a good game to give Dunbar some significant opportunities.
